Conspiracy Theory!

Last night was one of the worst.The thing about being posted in the periphery is that I'm supposed to be able to sleep a good 6 to 8 hours without disturbances.But every time I'm on call there's a steady stream of patients!And yesterday was one of the worst...every hour ONE patient would turn up!Now I can handle not sleeping at all during emerg but having my sleep disturbed just when I've reached the stage of deep sleep is just plain annoying!Then I have to wake up to attend to the patient and by the time that's done I'm fully alert so it takes me time to go back to sleep and the entire vicious cycle restarts.
I swear its like they knew when I was sound asleep and timed their arrival exactly by that.Aaargh!
